RETURN, EXCHANGE & REFUND POLICY

At The Beauty Story, we prioritise product safety and customer satisfaction.
Please review our policies carefully before making a purchase.

Return Eligibility (Within 7 Days)

We accept returns within 7 days of receiving your order, if the following conditions are met:

  • Product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging

  • Safety seals, shrink wraps, or hygiene stickers are fully intact

  • Item shows no signs of tampering or damage after delivery

If these conditions are not met, the return will not be accepted.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to hygiene and safety standards, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened, tested, or used products

  • Change of Mind items

  • Items damaged due to mishandling by the customer

  • Free gifts, sample items, or purchases using promotional credits

  • Final sale items, special markdowns, or products labelled non-returnable

  • Minor manufacturing variations such as:

    • Slight colour differences (due to lighting/screens)

    • Small scratches or dents on packaging

These are not considered defects and are not eligible for return.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damageddefective, or you received the wrong item, please contact us within 2 days of delivery with clear photo/video proof.

We will review and resolve the issue promptly.

Return Shipping

  • If the return is not due to our mistake, the customer is responsible for all return shipping fees.

  • Please return items using a trackable courier service.

  • The Beauty Story is not responsible for lost or damaged return parcels until received.

Exchange Policy

We currently offer exchanges under the following conditions:

Eligible for Exchange:

  • Wrong item received

  • Damaged product upon delivery (reported within 2 days)

Not Eligible for Exchange:

  • Change of mind

  • Opened or used products

  • Items not meeting return conditions

How Exchanges Work:

  • Once your returned item is inspected and approved, you may choose:

    • replacement of the same item, or

    • store credit equivalent to the value of the item

If you wish to get a different product, you must place a new order separately.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status.

Refund Processing:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7 working days

  • Refunds will be issued back to the original payment method

For Cash-on-Delivery (COD) Orders:

Customers must provide the following:

  • Full Name

  • Bank Name

  • Bank Account Number

Processing times may vary depending on your bank.
